My name is Hannah, and I’m a digital nomad, house sitter, and foodie currently based in Portland, Oregon. A few months ago, I created an Instagram account (@markethaulsandlocalnoms) to document my food adventures and spotlight the amazing people and businesses I discover along the way.
The (admittedly long) username reflects two of my favorite things: exploring farmers’ markets and supporting local businesses. It’s also inspired by my passion for building community—celebrating the stories, connections, and creativity that make local food scenes so special.
I recently decided to expand from Instagram to a blog, where I can share more in-depth stories about the incredible people I meet, along with personal guides and recommendations for the places I visit.
